Racist Appearance

I know a place with no racism
but with swastikas printed on t-shirts and vehicles.

I know a place
which honors the KKK
but does not degrade any human’s worth.

This place I fear less
than that which is supposed to be known as my home,
because,
even though the physical dangers
due to my foreign appearance
are greater here,
at least they will only hurt me for the sake of their survival
while being right in their prejudices.
