Wherever I go,
it seems that people only point
to what’s different about me.
In Sweden,
I am not accepted as a Swede.
I tell them that I am Filipina.
In the Philippines,
I expect to be one of those
to whom I claim to belong.
However, I find that they only point out
my Swedish sides.
